Qualification risk
A capable investigator may lose an opportunity because the site lacks a refrigerator, a −20 °C freezer or ultra-low storage.
A turnkey cold-chain service for CROs, Sponsors and research sites — hospitals and private centres of every size — built on BIOBASE equipment.
The site-readiness gap
Study teams increasingly expect sites to demonstrate reliable, documented temperature-controlled storage during feasibility and start-up.
A capable investigator may lose an opportunity because the site lacks a refrigerator, a −20 °C freezer or ultra-low storage.
Equipment is often rented from the Sponsor for the study only, then reclaimed at closeout — adding sourcing, delivery, installation and retrieval to the critical path.
Smaller private centres and hospitals may have patients and investigators, but not the infrastructure budget.
The Anhydras service
Anhydras packages BIOBASE cold-storage equipment with the practical work needed to make it usable at the site. The final scope is defined per study, facility and contract.
Match protocol temperature ranges, capacity, room constraints, power and documentation expectations.
Supply the selected equipment and coordinate delivery, placement, commissioning and handover.
Add qualification, calibration, monitoring, maintenance and contingency modules when required.
Service architecture
CROs, Sponsors and sites can procure only the modules needed for a specific study, or build permanent site capability.

Delivery model
Temperature, capacity, samples, retention period and study timelines.
Space, access, ventilation, electrical load and operational ownership.
Equipment, accessories, documentation, service modules and funding route.
Delivery, placement, commissioning and agreed qualification activities.
Site records, training evidence and ongoing support plan, as contracted.
Commercial routes
Every route delivers the same turnkey package — equipment, deployment and support — never a stand-alone equipment sale. Only who pays, and when, changes.
A study-specific package contracted centrally or reimbursed as an approved site start-up cost.
The institution acquires permanent infrastructure and can use it across future studies.
A staged payment option may reduce the immediate capital burden, subject to commercial approval.
Availability and financing terms remain subject to quotation and approval.
Value by stakeholder
Faster access to capable sites; fewer equipment logistics managed by the study team; a local point of coordination.
A practical answer during feasibility; clearer start-up planning; consistent local sourcing across sites.
Access to required infrastructure without waiting for sponsor-owned equipment; a durable capability for future trials.
A route to qualify sites that already have the patients and clinical expertise but lack dedicated cold storage.
Qualification dossier
The project scope can be aligned with Sponsor or CRO requirements. No qualification, validation or monitoring claim should be assumed unless it is included in the signed scope.
